A short comic I actually started two years ago but only just got around to finishing! I don't know what compelled me to, but I went in and redrew everything to be up-to-date with my current skill level, and I'm very happy that I did. :)
I think the comic is pretty self-explanatory! I got the idea through past experiences when I was a kid; a lot of what Wendy's insecure about are things I was made fun of for when I was younger: my hands were too big (kids used to call me "man-hands"), or my nose was too large for my face, or my voice was too rough, or my hair wasn't pretty. I've no doubt everyone goes through some rather mean-spirted teasing on their appearance, and man does it suck. Took me up until college for me to actually think of myself as something other than ugly and that there wasn't anything wrong with me, and only just recently can I look in the mirror and think 'I look nice! I like the way I look!"
SO! To paraphrase what Bowsette's basically saying: remember to be kinder to yourself! You're beautiful as you are. :) Aaaand be sure to kick anyone's ass who says otherwise uwu
Hope ya'll like the comic!! More to come soon! ^.^
