Donkey Kong concept vote!

I have plans of introducing the Kongs in my Super Mario au/headcanon so they needed concept art, starting with the main couple Candy Kong and Donkey Kong! After a LOT of variations and tweaking and sketches I've finally narrowed the choices of designs down to just these two variations, but I was hoping ya'll could help me vote for what will be the final decision!
SO! My question is this: of the two, which do you think works best??
If you want added context to each batch before voting:
1 is designed in such a way to stick closer to Candy's OG design but with a much needed wardrobe change + give the Kongs in general a more... I dunno, "civilized" look of sorts? So if I go this route, DK will also be given pants to consistently wear.
2 is designed with the goal of making Candy closer to how the rest of the Kongs look and dress, which is more animal/ape and with very little clothing.
Whatever is chosen will be their final "base design"! ;w;

I really adore Candy number 2. It just makes so much sense, and I love seeing her like that! I think the small amount of clothing for the Kongs meshes well with their designs uwu

2021-05-21 20:44:47 +0000 UTCPretty much the current struggle! I REALLY like the looks of 1 but I also really enjoy 2 due to their designs meshing in a more natural way? The only downside to 1's Candy is she'll probably conflict a bit with Pauline's design who is also super tall and of somewhat similar build, so 2 is slowly becoming a little more appealing. But I keep flipflopping ngl ;w;

2021-05-21 19:16:12 +0000 UTCI have but ultimately decided against it! In fact, design 2 is a bit of a compromise for it: giving her the jacket. If she's more apelike I think she should also be in the same state of dress the rest of the Kongs have, which is generally limited to just a shirt and hat but thats it :0

Right now its a tossup between her being more apelike and in line with the canon designs of the other main Kongs, OR keeping her more human-ish look but with the very needed wardrobe change ;w;
