The Koopalings! (WIP)
Added 2021-03-30 01:23:35 +0000 UTCI've been getting a whole bunch of asks about what I'll do with the Koopalings, so while I'm in the process of workin' on all of them ya'll get first dibs on seeing them as I go! owo So, here's at least two of the seven siblings, Wendy O. Koopa and Morton Koopa Jr.! I started with them since they're my favs of the sibs owo
Like I drew Bowser Jr as a teen, these will mainly be the Koopalings as adults since I figured they're already teenagers in canon. I don't think I'll actually age them up for headcanons, but it's still fun to try and design them like this anyway! :)
Lemme tell you though, so far Wendy was the most challenging; I went through several base passes of her overall design before I finally settled on what ya'll see here. I couldn't decide on a lot of things with her: whether or not she had hair or kept her damned shoes, whether or not to give her a jacket, what her body shape should be, but I think I did an ok job in the end! If you're wondering, I took some inspiration from her namesake, which is rock queen Wendy O. Williams, and the sole sister of the seven will be a rock star when she gets older.
Morton was comparatively way more simplistic to work with if only because I already knew what I wanted with his grown up design. A BICC BOI! Probably even bigger than Bowser himself, and that's pretty big already. The sketch right after it though is what I picture Morton as though; big huge boi who's actually a sweet softy and a good big brother. uwu
