Melon's Adventure: What do you pack on a harrowing journey? (p2)
Added 2021-02-24 16:23:29 +0000 UTCScritch scritch scritch. The sound of charcoal to parchment filled Melon's little hut as he drew away, concentrating hard as he tried to remember all there was to the island.
Chomp Chomp Hills? Check! Crystal Caves? Check! Blargg Jungle, Lakitu Lookout, Sluggy's Snowdrift, Lava Grove? Check check check!
Just beyond that is nothing but the sprawling sea, but from the highest peaks of the mountains Melon has seen the tiny island some ways off the coast of Mushroom Kingdom; a human village if he remembers right. The stork must've been heading that way to be flying so low, and his best chance at returning the slumbering human hatchling to his new family.
Melon lifts his charcoal away from his fresh made map and appraises it before taking a look around his hut: everything he could possibly need is already packed or prepared for packing. He gives a satisfied nod. He's all set for the journey ahead!

Part 2 of the Yoshi's Adventure! miniseries! :3 Melon has decided he'll make the quest to return baby Mario home, to a small human village settled on a separate island not terribly far from his own. It's an ambitious one: no matter how familiar he is with his home, the island is jam-packed with dangers, but he's determined to see it through!
I'm having a ball with this, so much so I've even taken to writing tiny blurbs to go along with the parts. :) If it's a bit much though just lemme know and I can just keep it to the short context descriptions instead uwu
AAAND Finally, just wanted to give the heads up that these are planned for posting every Wednesday! So the next part will posted here next Wednesday, and so on!
