Melon's Adventure: Melon's Map!

Melon's paw-drawn map of the Island's main regions and the possible dangers he may face on his journey! He's seen marking the map in the upcoming part. uwu
In the original story of the game, the Yoshi know where to go because Mario himself knows exactly where Luigi is based on an apparently telepathic connection to his twin. I'm trying to decide if I want that to remain the same or if there's a human village on a separate island, and Melon figures that maybe Mario's parents are there if the stork was flying so low over the island. Maybe both? What do ya'll think? O:

I think there being a human village would be cool. It could offer more to the story with trying to find the right parents and that sort of thing. Also gives a new, interesting location you could design (if that's something you would wanna do.)
