Fruit and Flowers, oh my!

Doodle-dump for OC-tober, featuring my girl Kaela from my og project Feathers and Flowers! :3 The prompt for this one was “Hobby”, and Kaela’s is gardening!

Kaela doesn’t actually see it as a hobby though; it’s more a passion. Gardening is what she wants to do for a living; she loves working with plants, enjoys nurturing them and growing them. She works with both food stuffs and flowers but flowers in particular are her favorite, especially because the many languages different floral arrangements can convey. :)

Kaela actually moved away from her home island in hopes of chasing the dream of opening her own gardening shop, but it kinda fell through. But who knows! Maybe an opportunity will present itself? ;)

Some flavor text for the doodles above:

1) Kaela proudly showing off a watermelon she grew! It got bigger than anticipated but she’s happy regardless. uwu

2) and 4) Kaela hard at work! She usually throws on an old pair of overalls for more intensive stuff, but for something she finds a little more leisurely like simply planting a flower, she’ll just keep on whatever she’s wearing. Dirt doesn’t really bother her much O:

3) Hmmm.... wonder what, or who, that flower reminds our girl of? ;3
