Feathers and Flowers WIP sketches

Exactly as the title says! A small bunch of Feathers and Flowers sketchbook doodles that'll eventually become full-fledged drawings! For almost everything I draw I always do a mockup sketch in my sketchbook first, in pen so I don't worry about erasing anything. It's to help me focus on what exactly I want with the image and the dynamic I'm looking for, as well as just put the general idea down without trying to make it look pretty. :3

At any rate, context for each of the ideas behind the roughs!

1. Evangeline and Kaela spending time in Kaela's garden, just talking and enjoying each other's company. I can imagine these two having an easier time confiding in each other about stuff they're too nervous to share with their respective counterparts (at the time) and seeking out advice  from one another, particularly Evangeline. Kaela's not the only one to notice, but she's the first to catch on Eva's crushing pretty hard on Sakura, but also notices how conflicted she feels about it owo

2. Sakura and her bestest buddy Quincy as kids! It was mostly to just show off that they've been friends since essentially day one, and tell a story on how Sakura once cut Quincy's hair at his request when they were like, 7.

3. Kaela and Sakura hangin' out and playing video games, possibly at work! Mostly just done to show them interacting more and a little bit of their more playful dynamic. :3

4. Mal and Evangeline mediating. This takes place a little after Sakura introduces Eva to Mal and Kaela after the whole witch reveal thing, and Mal takes it upon herself to help Evangeline get a better grip at controlling her magic. Eva's nervous about the whole thing though; not just the magic part, but of Mal, since where she comes from Spirits aren't... looked at too kindly. The two of them have more in common than she realizes though, and it's what helps jumpstart their friendship. C:

I have more sketches I wanna do full drawings of laying around, like one where Mal is taking care of a sick Kaela and the confrontation between Sakura and Evangeline regarding the witch thing (and why Eva's been avoiding Sakura), but I didn't wanna bombard ya'll like that. owo
