Back from Bronycon!
Added 2019-08-05 04:24:57 +0000 UTCAight aight so I'm back from Bronycon! And I gotta say, it was one hell of a convention; it was always fun but this one was far more than I could have ever anticipated. I got to meet so many new and amazing people and everyone was so nice, and I managed to sell out of nearly all of my stock! So all around a very, very good sendoff to one of my favorite conventions. <:
But I'm not really here to talk about that! My return means I'll be getting to work on the rewards for this month and I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop. So! I wanted to talk to ya'll about my plans for how I'm gonna tackle the amount of rewards I'm gonna have to work with:
-I'm gonna be taking at least another 2 days off before coming back into the studio. I barely slept at the convention while I worked and my drawing hand is aching, so I'm gonna take a tiny bit of time to rest up before I get right back to it.
-The smaller rewards will be done first! They're generally gonna be faster for me to work with so I think I should just go ahead and get them outta the way. I probably won't stream them on one day like I have been the past few times but they will worked on probably 2-3 at a time to get through them quicker.
-The medium rewards will come second! They're the basic reference sheet rewards and while they don't take me nearly as much time as the larger rewards, they're still a bit more of a time consuming thing to work with. Thankfully there's not a lot of them so while I'll do like one at a time in this case, it shouldn't take me too long to get through them
-the large rewards will be worked on last but given their nature, will still have WIP done to them throughout the next coming weeks so I can better spread out the work load.
----------------
So me talking about this all has a purpose because I'm thinking about making a schedule for every reward month (probably should have done that before but better late than never). This is mostly so you guys not only get a better idea of how I'm gonna handle the workload and therefore a better idea of when your rewards will be finished, but it also serves as a way for me to pace myself without being too lax. I'm trying not to overwhelm myself rewards and commissions on my plate, so I figured a schedule over the course of the reward month (and the two dormant months inbetween them) would do me some good. <:
I swear there was more but I'm half falling asleep as I type so, I'ma end it here for now! Lemme know if you have any questions or concerns, and until then thank you all so much again for your ongoing support! <:
