August Rewards Reminder + Reward upgrade options?
Added 2019-07-24 18:36:06 +0000 UTCJust giving everyone a second reminder in case they didn't see the previous one, but the reward month of August is coming up so if you have access to a reward based on your tier of pledge and you'd like to cash it in for this month, be sure to let me know if you haven't already!
Speaking of rewards though, I'd like to let ya'll know that this reward month is the start of some of the bigger rewards I'll have to do (like the character designs/concept art), so with that plus the conventions and the commissions eating my time up it might take me a little while longer than usual to get through everyone's. I just wanted to give ya'll the headsup just in case, but I'll give you regular updates on my progress of the rewards to make up for the added time.
While I'm on the topic, I've been seeing a few creators do a thing where they allow their patrons to stack their rewards in order to get a larger reward after a certain amount of time, and I'm wondering if ya'll would be interested in that?
For example for the Tier 2 ($10) reward: if you go with a quarterly reward distribution (once every 4 months), instead of one chibi you gain access to, say, a full body shaded commission.
Another example using Tier 4 ($25) reward: Quarterly reward distribution gives you access to an full speedpainting instead of a mini-painting.
Somethin' like that. I wanted to gauge ya'lls opinion on it before I make any moves, so lemme know when you get the chance what you think! If you have any other suggestions I'm always open to hear them. <:

I dunno about the delay thing, if only because I'm trying to keep consistent with the current reward months! I'd like for them to stay the same, and the Bi-monthly or quarterly reward choices would make it overall easier for me to keep up with everyone. O: It's certainly not a bad idea though! I was also thinking about downgrading the two largest tiers and combine them into one? I haven't decided how yet though. :/ Like for example, get rid of both Tier 5 and 6 and replace them with a much cheaper $15 tier, where the bi-monthly reward is the Mini-ref sheets I do for my mini commissions, but a Quarterly route would allow for a base reference sheet/character design sheet to be gained instead? And maybe another delay in that could result in a full character concept reward like the current Tier 6 is, or just a full character reference sheet that'll include headshots and such? Hm. Then I could save the more expensive slots for something else... not sure exactly what though. o3o
