Samus Aran 1.0 Character Release

This started as just an overlay request for her Zero Suit from SB Brawl but I decided to expand on it later into a full card. There are other cards of the modern version of the Zero Suit, even ones of good quality, something that would normaly disqualify a character from being recreated by me, but all were of the outfit I made for slot 2. 

1 Samus' face, hair, body, etc, are based on her Smash Brothers Brawl design, something noticeable on her thick eyebrows. I was making her 6 foot 3 as I remembered that was her official height, but almost at the last minute I realized that's her height IN the armor!

2 You must have seen this design already in other cards of Samus. I remade it from scratch but didn't add as much detail as it felt like a waste. My version does look cleaner though.

4 An open variant of her bodysuit. An open version of her other bodysuit will be uploaded later to this same post.

5 One of her outfits from Other M, or at least from the art gallery in that game. There was another one with a slicked back hair and straps over her bodysuit, but it seemed too much work for little payoff as most would have to be made with custom textures. I could make that hairstyle as a coordinate card later though.

6 Another from Other M, from Samus' young days as a cadet. The hair makes her face look the best of any outfit I think so I'm glad I added it. 

7 Her classic underwear outfit you get when you beat Super Metroid with a good score. I like her more abundant and free flowing  old-school hairstyle.

As you can see on the pictures, I also made a simple recreation of her old Paralyzer gun, again based on her Brawl/Zero Mission design instead of the more modern and detailed one.

General Update

It seems I got over my head trying to make one good character card per week, at least while still doing things like fullfulling previous requests. Last week I had planned on doing Jenova from Final Fantasy 7 because she fits with my Monster Girl trend, trust me it could be a sexy card, but I'm a little stuck on her, so I focused on turning this Samus request into a full release. This is most likely a one off before I return to more monster girls, so don't worry. 

To ensure I manage to deliver good quality cards without loosing even more hair, I'm moving the release schedule to one character card every 10 to 14 days. Hopefuly I will have more time in the next weeks than the past 2 weeks so I can also make smaller releases.

Keep an eye on the Mega folders, as I've been adding scenes, textures and other goodies you can use to make your own characters or edit mine.
