NEW Patreon COMMISSIONS Scoring System

Hey everyone!

Just letting you know I am applying some changes to the way I pick PATREON COMMISSIONS.

The old system gave absolute importance to the patrons that have less commissions, but this was sorta broken, cause it didn't take into account the length and/or pledge amount of any of the patrons.

Example: a 1 month patron with no commissions that pledged $1 dollar got precedence over someone that has been a patron for 8 months with a $20 dollar pledge and 1 commission done 6 months before.

I think this isn't fair, so I decided to add minimal weight to the pledge amount and considerable weight to the patronage length, still keeping the number of commission slots as a weight priority.

From February onward I will use this formula to give a score to each Patron that will apply for a patreon commission:

CHU Points = (M * 50pts) + (LP * 0.5pts) - (150pts * (1 - 1.3^S) / (1 - 1.3))

M = Number of months of patronage
LP = Lifetime Pledge = Sum of all the money you've ever pledged
S = Number of Slots/Commissions you ever commissioned
(Value of each new commissioned slot increases by 1.3 and caps at the 5th slot)

Each month I will select the first 10-20 (average 15) patrons with most points that will then get a slot.
You don't need 150pts to get a commission, only thing that counts is how high on the list you are.
