Impa concept
Added 2019-04-06 16:23:25 +0000 UTCI was asked about my headcanon version of Impa so I drew her up! This time the headcanon isn't all that long (yet) so here it be!
This incarnation of Impa is a variety of things: wisened Elder of her village, was a senior Knight of the royal family, and Sheik’s grandmother. She was quite the warrior in her young age and even in her elder years, she’s a force to reckon with; She helps train the young Sheikah of her village aspiring to pledge to the crown, and often runs circles around them. I’d like to imagine she’s lived to see at least 2 separate incarnations of Zelda, one of which she was the bodyguard for before that role was passed to her granddaughter for the current Zelda. She can be strict to the point of harshness but she’s a great source of advice and tutoring. Despite her serious demeanor she is loving and nurturing, and can be blunt, snarky and deadpan in her humor.
I love the design of Impa from Hyrule Warriors, but I also love her design and personality in BotW so I’ve opted to combine the two! <:
