1.先輩飲み過ぎですよ

ようやく繁忙期が終わった。皆が疲れ果てていた中、先輩だけは最後まで異常に元気だった。「酒さえ飲めれば元気でいられる」と豪語していたが、あれは本当かもしれない。

へとへとでただ休みたかった俺を、先輩は無理やり飲みに連れ出した。店に着くなり、俺にはほとんど目もくれず、ひたすら酒を飲み続けている。いつも以上にハイペースで、さすがに心配になってくる。「先輩、飲みすぎですよ…」制止しようとした俺を、先輩は「やれやれ」とでも言いたげな目で見上げ、さらなる勢いでグラスを煽る。どうせ言うことを聞く人じゃない。開き直って付き合うか…。

2.「そろそろあっちへ行く？」

本格的に暑くなる前に彼女と旅行に出かけたが、まるで真夏のような猛暑に見舞われ、宿泊先のホテルに着いた時には意識が朦朧としていた。部屋に入ると、すでに効いていたエアコンの温度をさらに下げた。ようやく頭が正常に働き始め、ふと彼女の方を見ると、わずかに汗の跡があるものの、余裕たっぷりの表情でソファに座っていた。付き合って2年になるが、彼女の落ち着いた態度は一度も崩れたことがない。まるでアンドロイドのようだと冗談交じりに言ったら、彼女は何も言わず静かに微笑んだ。その表情が妙に印象に残っている。備え付けの冷蔵庫から無料の水を取り出し、飲みながら彼女の視線を感じた。振り返ると、彼女はベッドを指さし、顎を軽く上げた。

「そろそろあっち行く？」

まだ体が完全には回復していないことや、せめてシャワーを浴びたいことなど、いろいろ考えはしたが、一度その気になった彼女を止めるのはほぼ不可能だと分かっていた。

大衆ジムのエクササイズレッスンで、最近気になる人がいる。誰とも会話をしているところを見たことがない、クールで近寄りがたい雰囲気の人だ。でも、スタイルが日本人離れしていて、ダメだとわかっていてもつい目で追ってしまう。全身のバランスが素晴らしいと思うけど、特にヒップのラインが完璧だ。どうにかして仲良くなりたいけど、まったく隙がない。勇気を出して話しかけてみようか…。

1. You're drinking way too much, Senpai.

The busy season was finally over. While everyone else was completely exhausted, my senpai was, as usual, abnormally energetic until the very end. She'd always boasted, "As long as I have booze, I can keep going," and it might actually be true.

Even though I was dead tired and just wanted to go home and rest, she dragged me out for drinks. The moment we got to the bar, she paid me almost no attention and just started chugging drinks one after another. She was drinking even faster than usual, and I was starting to get genuinely worried. "Senpai, you're drinking way too much..." I tried to stop her, but she just looked up at me with a "give me a break" expression and downed her glass with even more gusto. It's not like she'd listen to me anyway. I guess I'll just have to deal with it...

We decided to take a trip before it got seriously hot, but we were hit with a heatwave that felt like the middle of summer. By the time we got to the hotel, I was practically delirious. I walked into the room and turned the A/C, which was already on, down even lower.

As my head finally started to clear, I glanced over at her. She was sitting on the sofa with a completely composed look on her face, save for a few faint traces of sweat. We've been dating for two years, but her calm demeanor has never once broken. I jokingly told her she was like an android, and she just smiled silently without saying a word. That expression left a strange impression on me. I grabbed a free bottle of water from the mini-fridge and could feel her eyes on me as I drank it. When I turned back, she pointed to the bed with a slight lift of her chin.

"Should we head over there?"

A few thoughts ran through my mind—that I hadn't fully recovered yet, that I wanted to at least take a shower—but I knew it was nearly impossible to stop her once she was in the mood.

3. Her body is unreal...

There's someone who's caught my eye in my group exercise class at the public gym. She has this cool, unapproachable vibe, and I've never seen her talk to anyone. But her body is out of this world, not like the average Japanese person's, and I can't help but stare, even though I know I shouldn't. Her proportions are incredible all over, but her hips are especially perfect. I want to get to know her somehow, but she doesn't give anyone an opening. Maybe I should just work up the courage and talk to her...
