あまり自分とは合いそうにない大学の先輩になぜか気に入られて、しょっちゅう家に呼ばれては何気ない雑談をしながら酒を飲んでいる。もしかすると何かの間違いで俺のことを好きになったのかと思い、しばらくドキドキしていたが、全くそんな素振りは見せなかった。たぶん、退屈しのぎにちょうど良さそうな相手だと見定められたのかもしれない。

今日もホロ酔いの先輩から、バイト先のかっこいい先輩とやらの話を聞かされていた。正直、死ぬほどどうでもよかったが、ちゃんと話を聞いているふりをして、先輩のほうをちらちら眺めていた。

（この人、いちいちエロいんだよな……）

かなりの巨乳に色気のある雰囲気が、ホロ酔いのせいでさらに増して、ただ座って話しているだけでめちゃくちゃエロい。先輩を肴にして飲む酒は、ひとり酒では味わえない満足感がある。この際、話なんてどうでもよくて、この眺めさえあればそれでよかった。

2.「差し入れ持ってきてやったぞ」

調子に乗って締め切り間近まで仕事をサボっていたら、季節の移り変わりにやられて体調を崩し、誇張でもなんでもなく死にそうな思いで作業を続けていた。そこへ彼女が、缶コーヒーを片手に部屋に入ってきた。

「差し入れ持ってきてやったぞ」

男勝りで気が強く、ドアの開け方ひとつとっても雑な彼女だけど、こういうときは決まって優しい。今回だって、完全に俺の自業自得なのに、責めることもせず黙って支えてくれる。その心遣いに応えたくて、なんとか締め切りに間に合わせようと手を動かした。

3.何かを期待している子

彼女の様子がおかしい。感情の読みづらい顔で、じっとこちらを見つめてくる時間がやけに多い。こういうときの彼女は、たいてい何かを求めている。何かの記念日か、約束をすっぽかしたか、ほかに忘れていることがあるのか。だが、どうしても思い出せない。

まずは機嫌をなんとか持ち直させ、そのうえで、さりげなく自分が何か忘れていないか探ってみよう。

For some reason, a college senior who doesn’t really seem like my type has taken a liking to me. She keeps inviting me over for drinks, where we chat about nothing in particular. She just quietly had my back. I wanted to answer that kindness, so I forced my hands to keep moving, determined to meet the deadline.

3.A girl who’s hoping for something

Something’s off with her. She keeps looking at me with that unreadable expression, watching me for longer than usual. When she’s like this, it usually means she wants something. Is it an anniversary? A promise I forgot? Something else I’m missing? I rack my brain, but nothing comes to me.

First, I’ve got to smooth things over, then see if I can subtly figure out what I’ve forgotten.
