1.「いや・・・海のことじゃなくて・・・」

GWのある日、都会住みの彼女と、俺の地元の田舎にある海岸を訪れた。知名度皆無で地元民がたまに来る程度の場所なので、二人きりで過ごすには絶好の穴場だ。

二人で砂浜を歩きながら、のんびりと海を眺める。海風でそよそよと揺れる麦わら帽子と同じリズムで、あちこちをキョロキョロ見ている彼女が可愛くて、思わず笑みがこぼれた。

「なんで笑うの」

彼女が恥ずかしそうに頬を膨らます。

「いや……別に」

「ふーん……ところで……どうかな？」

彼女が麦わら帽子を片手で持ち、上目遣いでこちらを見る。恐らく先日買ってあげた麦わら帽子が似合うか聞いているのだろうが、あえて気づかないふりをした。

「静かで落ち着くよな。久しぶりに来たけど、いい海だよ」

「いや……海のことじゃなくて……」

彼女は顔を赤くしながら俯く。ちょっと意地が悪かったか。

「冗談だよ。ちゃんと似合ってる」

ぱっと顔を上げてにへっと笑う彼女。表情がころころ変わるから見ていて飽きない。本当に可愛くて、だからこそどうしてもからかいたくなってしまう。

「結構歩いたし、岩陰にでも行って休もうか」

「うん……」

ニコニコと笑う彼女の手を引くと、ワンピースがふわりと舞い、胸がちらりと見えてしまった。子どものような純真な笑顔と豊かな胸のギャップがエロい。興奮しているのを彼女に気づかれないよう少し前かがみになりながら、岩陰へと向かった。

2.「あれ？先輩縮みました？

「……お？」

休日に散歩をしていると、前から来た長身の女性が俺の前で立ち止まった。170センチは優に超えそうなスレンダーで可愛い子だ。なんとなく見覚えがある。

「……もしかして中学時代の？」

中学時代、バレー部だった俺は女子バレー部とも交流があって、確かこんな顔の女の子がいた。小柄で元気な性格で、男女問わず人気者だった。

「やっぱり！めちゃくちゃ久しぶりですね……5年ぶりくらい？」

彼女は嬉しそうに目を細める。人懐っこい笑顔は当時のままだ。

「あれ？先輩縮みました？」

わずかに身長が下の俺を見て、いたずらっぽく言う。

「お前が伸びすぎなんだよ……15センチくらい伸びてないか？身長以外何も変わってなさそうだけど」

「それ、けなしてません？私もけなしましたからお互い様ですけど」

生意気な性格も昔のまま。憎まれ口を叩くのに、なぜか相手を怒らせない不思議な奴だ。今も周りに可愛がられているに違いない。

「せっかく会ったんだし家きません？ちょうど暇なんですよね」

「いや……お前、久々に会った男をいきなり家に誘うのは……」

動揺する俺を見て、彼女は軽蔑したような顔で一歩後ずさる。本気で引いているわけではなく、ただの冗談のようだ。

「何変なこと考えてんですか。実家なんで両親も妹もいるし何もできないですよ」

「それでもちょっと……」

「じゃあ行きましょうか。ちゃんとついてきてくださいね」

そういえばこういう強引なやつだったな……と苦笑いし、仕方なく後を追う。たまにはこういう予定外の休日も悪くないかもしれない。

3.「まぁ・・・暇だしいいですよ？」

用事を済ませた帰り道、街角でダウナー系美人がぼんやりと立っていた。手に持つコーヒーには口をつけず、虚空を見つめている。様子が気になったのと、あまりにも好みのタイプだったため、思い切って声をかけた。

「あの……大丈夫ですか？なんかぼーっとしてますけど」

「……私？」

周囲には俺たちしかいないので、冷たくあしらわれているのかと思ったが、どうもそういうわけではなさそうだ。少し変わった人なのかもしれない。

「はい。なにかあったのかと思って」

「……気持ちいい天気だから、日当たりのいいここでぼーっとしてたの」

視線を一切こちらに向けず、ぽつぽつと答える彼女。あまりの独特さに少し引きそうになるが、思い切ってナンパしてみることにした。

「あの……もしお時間あったら一緒にどこか行きませんか？」

「まぁ……暇だしいいですよ？」

絶対断られると思っていたのに、まさかの即OKに内心ガッツポーズする。

「ありがとう！じゃあ適当に歩きましょうか」

「……うん」

のろのろと後をついてくる彼女は、まるで実家の年老いた犬のようだ。この先どんな展開になるか想像もつかないが、彼女が楽しんでくれるよう精一杯努力しよう。

1. "No... I wasn't talking about the ocean..."

One day during Golden Week, I visited a beach in my rural hometown with my girlfriend who lives in the city. It's a perfect hidden spot for spending time alone together, since it's virtually unknown and only occasionally visited by locals.

As we walked along the beach together, leisurely gazing at the ocean, I couldn't help but smile watching her look around curiously, her straw hat swaying gently in the sea breeze.

"Why are you smiling?"

She puffs her cheeks out shyly.

"Oh... no reason."

"Hmm... well... how do I look?"

She holds her straw hat with one hand and looks up at me. She's probably asking if the straw hat I bought her recently suits her, but I pretend not to notice.

"It's peaceful and calming here. Haven't been here in a while, but it's a nice beach."

"No... I wasn't talking about the ocean..."

She looks down, her face turning red. Maybe I was a bit too mean.

"I'm kidding. It really suits you."

Her face lights up with a grin. It's entertaining to watch her expressions change so quickly. She's just so cute that I can't help but want to tease her.

"We've walked quite a bit. Should we rest behind those rocks?"

"Yeah..."

As I take her hand while she smiles cheerfully, her dress floats up slightly, giving me a glimpse of her chest. The gap between her innocent, childlike smile and her mature figure is arousing. Trying not to let her notice my excitement, I bend forward slightly as we head toward the rocks.

2. "Hey? Did you shrink, senpai?"

"...Oh?"

While taking a walk on my day off, a tall woman stopped in front of me. She's a cute, slender girl who must be well over 170 centimeters tall. She looks somewhat familiar.

Back in middle school, when I was in the boys' volleyball club, we often interacted with the girls' volleyball club, and I remember there was a girl who looked like her. She was small and energetic, popular with both boys and girls.

She narrows her eyes happily. Her friendly smile remains unchanged from back then.

Come to think of it, she was always this pushy... I think with a wry smile as I reluctantly follow her. Maybe an unexpected day off like this isn't so bad.

On my way home after finishing some errands, I noticed a melancholic beauty standing on a street corner. She was holding an untouched coffee, staring into space. Concerned about her state and finding her exactly my type, I decided to approach her.

"Um... are you okay? You seem a bit spaced out."

"...Me?"

Since we were the only ones around, I thought she might be coldly brushing me off, but that didn't seem to be the case. She might just be a bit peculiar.

"Yes. I thought something might be wrong."

"...The weather's nice, so I was just spacing out here in the sun."

She responds in fragments without looking my way. Though her uniqueness almost makes me hesitate, I decide to take a chance and try to pick her up.

"Um... if you have time, would you like to go somewhere together?"

"Well... I'm free, so why not?"

I internally fist pump at her unexpected immediate acceptance, having been sure I'd be rejected.

"Thanks! Shall we just walk around then?"

"...Sure."

She follows behind me slowly, like an elderly family dog. While I can't predict how things will turn out, I'll do my best to make sure she enjoys herself.
