1.「飲んだね－・・・」

大学の後輩と家飲みをすることになった。半年ほど前に友人の紹介で知り合った子で、出会ってすぐに意気投合し、よく会う飲み仲間になった。これまでは店で飲むだけだったが、今日は彼女の家ということで、どうしても下心が抑えられない。それを悟られないよう、普段通りくだらない話を肴に、ゆっくりと飲んだ。

「飲んだねー……」

真っ赤な顔で彼女が気持ちよさそうに笑い、ベッドに寄りかかる。普段は少し幼く感じる彼女だが、酔ってぼんやりするといつも妙な色気が増し、邪な気持ちを抑えるのに苦労する。今日は彼女の家で、しかもすぐ隣にベッドがあるという状況もあり、一層色っぽく見えてしまう。もしかしてこれは誘われているのでは、と思った瞬間から勃起が収まらなくなり、なるべく自然に前かがみになりながら、彼女から目を逸らしつつ酒をちびちびと飲んだ。

ふと視線を上げると、彼女がこちらを見てニヤニヤしていた。

「……先輩って可愛いですね。不器用で」

「………」

こちらの状況を分かった上で楽しんでいたらしい。もう紳士ぶる必要はなさそうだった。

2.「そんな態度だと差し入れあげませんよ」

経営する居酒屋の営業が終わり、一人で煙草を吸っていると、店に誰かが入ってきた。

一服を邪魔された苛立ちを抑えながら、丁寧に声をかける。

「すいません、もう終了してるんですよ」

「知ってますけど？」

「はぁ？」

たちの悪い酔っ払いかと顔を上げると、去年まで大学に通いながらここでバイトをしていた奴が意地悪く笑っていた。

「お前……何しに来たの？仕事をクビにでもなったのか？」

「そんなわけないじゃないですか。ここが潰れていないか気になって寄っただけです」

「余計なお世話だ。帰れ」

タバコを咥えたまま背中を向ける。珍しく忙しい日で疲れているのに、付き合っていられない。

「そんな態度だと差し入れあげませんよ」

のろのろと振り向くと、彼女が持っている袋は俺の好きなシュークリーム屋のものだった。

「お前なんで俺の好物なんて覚えて……まあいいや。それ置いて帰れ」

「せっかくなんだしちょっと飲みましょうよ。私そういう気分なんですよ」

いつの間にか真後ろに立っていた彼女が、酒瓶とコップを押し付けてくる。去年まではしなかった香水の香りが微かに鼻をくすぐる。ただのクソガキだったくせにムラっとさせやがって。

どうせ一度言い出すとそうそう引かない奴だったし、少しくらいは付き合ってやるか。

3.（苦手って言ったのに・・・）

カラオケスナックを経営しているものの、そろそろ閉店を考える時期かもしれない。徒歩3分の場所に大手カラオケチェーンができてから、常連客も時々来る程度になってしまい、ほとんどの時間はバイトの女子大生と世間話をしている。

「どうせ今日もお客さん来ないし、カラオケでもしなよ」

暇そうにぼーっとしている彼女に声をかけると、両手と首を大げさに振って拒否した。

「わたし歌下手なんですよ……というか、お客さんも来るかもしれないし……」

「本当に来るって思ってる？」

「……」

気まずそうにうつむく彼女。嘘がつけない良い子なのだが、自分で振っておいて少し傷つく。

「もしお客さんが来るとして、店に入って可愛い女の子が歌ってたら嬉しいじゃん。なんでもいいから歌ってよ」

「……少しだけですからね（苦手って言ったのに……）」

控えめに歌う彼女は確かにうまいとは言えないが、一生懸命さが伝わってきてとても可愛い。こんなに可愛い看板娘がいるんだから、もっと流行ってもいいのにな……。

1. "We drank quite a bit..."

I ended up drinking at my college junior's place. We met through a friend about six months ago, hit it off right away, and became regular drinking buddies. Until now, we'd only drunk at bars, but today we're at her place, and I can't help but have ulterior motives. Trying not to let it show, I drink slowly while making the usual small talk.

"We really drank a lot..."

She laughs contentedly with a flushed face, leaning against the bed. While she usually seems somewhat childlike, when she's tipsy, she always gains this strange sensuality that makes it hard to control my impure thoughts. Being at her place today, with the bed right next to us, makes her seem even more alluring. The moment I start wondering if this might be an invitation, I can't control my arousal, so I lean forward as naturally as possible, avoiding her gaze while taking small sips of my drink.

When I happen to look up, I catch her grinning at me.

"Senpai, you're cute... so awkward."

"..."

Apparently, she knew exactly what was going on and was enjoying it. Seems I no longer need to act like a gentleman.

2. "With that attitude, you won't get your gift"

After closing up my izakaya for the night, I was having a smoke alone when someone came in. Suppressing my irritation at having my break interrupted, I speak politely.

"Sorry, we're closed for the night."

"I know that, don't I?"

"Huh?"

Looking up, thinking it might be some troublesome drunk, I see my former part-timer from last year, when she was still in college, smirking mischievously.

"What are you doing here? Did you get fired or something?"

"Of course not. I was just worried whether this place was still in business."

"Mind your own business. Go home."

I turn my back on her, cigarette still in mouth. It's been an unusually busy day, and I'm too tired for this.

"With that attitude, you won't get your gift."

Slowly turning around, I see she's holding a bag from my favorite cream puff shop.

"How do you even remember what I like... whatever. Just leave it and go."

"Since I'm here, let's have a drink. I'm in that kind of mood."

Before I know it, she's standing right behind me, pushing a bottle and glass at me. There's a faint scent of perfume she never wore last year. Making me feel this way when she used to be just some brat.

Well, she was always stubborn once she got an idea in her head. Might as well humor her for a bit.

3. "(Even though I said I'm not good at it...)"

I run a karaoke snack bar, but it might be time to consider closing down. Since a major karaoke chain opened three minutes away on foot, even regular customers only drop by occasionally, and I spend most of my time making small talk with the college student part-timer.

"Since we won't get any customers today anyway, why don't you sing something?"

When I call out to her as she sits there looking bored, she dramatically waves her hands and shakes her head in refusal.

"I'm not good at singing... besides, customers might come..."

"Do you really think they will?"

"..."

She looks down awkwardly. She's a good kid who can't lie, but it still hurts a bit even though I brought it up myself.

"If customers do come, they'd be happy to see a cute girl singing, right? Come on, sing anything."

"...Just a little bit then (Even though I said I'm not good at it...)"

As she sings modestly, she's certainly not skilled, but her earnestness shows through and it's very endearing. With such a cute hostess, we really should be more popular...
