November UPDATE

Hello peeps! A lot has been on my mind so I figured it'd be good to give an update about it, especially since a bit of it has something to do with Patreon. c:

Okay so first off, I'll be taking a short break from the production of my film. It won't be a long one, probably about a week at most, but I have to get away from it for a little while so I can come back to it with fresh eyes. As such, updates on its WIP progress will be on hold until then!

In the meantime though it kinda brings me to my next point of thought: private streams. I would love to screen my film in its current completed condition to all that's pledged to my patreon, but I've also thought about just doing a monthly private stream in general where you can request artwork from me for free as a reward tier. I thought it'd be a nice reward as a thank you for your support thus far, and that maybe the tier of support you're giving dictates the level of requested art you can get (example: $1 support equals sketched headshot, $5= flat colored headshot, $10= shaded headshot. $20= sketched full body, stuff like that).

I'm also thinking about reincorporating a physical reward, as in something I mail out to you, but to reduce stress on my end it'll probably be pre-made stuff like... stickers or perhaps a "poster of the month" thing where ya'll vote on the artwork already made you'd like as a print, and whatever wins is what gets sent out to everyone?

With the end of my education approaching I'm trying to think of ways to make this patreon more worth while to support, as well as trying to figure out different ways to show my appreciation for said support!

Also finally, there will be new content on this patreon coming soon as well! After a lot of thought, I think I'll be doing work on the side to create a  storyboard book/picture book of retellings of fairytales in my own artstyle and my own vision of said stories. The one I did previously, the one of Goldilocks, was very well received (moreso than expected) so I thought it'd be a fun project to take on for actual publishing! The WIP of the work will of course be seen here, so ya'll would get first peaks of the stories featured and the concept work put into it, but I'm also considering making a crowdfunding project out of it to cover the publishing and printing costs. I dunno... But I might also make a suggestion thread to see what you guys think are good stories to put in the book!
