BAB2 Wrap Up

Yo, that's a wrap on Bond Arsenal 2. I had a lot of fun with this one, testing out a few extended mini-arcs and more character direction.

Just like last time, I have to remove over 90% of the chapters here on Patreon the day before the official release because of KU’s terms of service—catch up before then.

Editing

Things are going to be quiet here for two weeks while I get editing and proofing done. It ended up a bit more than 122K words.

Also, the Amazon version is the final “canon” version. The story beats typically remain the same, but I do change names, skills, and descriptions pretty often.

So when the next book starts posting here, keep in mind that it will begin from the ending of the Amazon version.

Just a reminder: I write in Markdown for various reasons. I’ll be posting another standalone symbol glossary after this and adding it to the Updates Collection.

Next Book

The ending to Bond Arsenal 2 was very different from my original timeline. I had to rearrange some things and push others to Bond Arsenal 3. Which I think will end up working better as a trilogy arc, honestly.

I got caught up in the training and so many fun character moments that I couldn’t give the original ending enough space to properly breathe. It was either push it forward, or have book 2 be 250k words.

Anyway, I’m going straight into Bond Arsenal 3 next, and I’m expecting it to be an absolute banger—both in the city and out. I’m dropping the cover Sneak Peek next week, but here’s a spoiler—it’s Tyra!

Expect new chapters to begin posting on here June 16th.

Side Note: This also means that DESTINY;DIVINE is on a little hiatus. But bear with me, I don’t plan to drop it. It’s still my baby.

Audio

I’ve signed a contract with Royal Guard Publishing to produce audio for the entire Bond Arsenal series. The audiobook for book 1 should be out next month. I don’t have an exact date, but I’ll post when it drops.

This will be my first ever audiobook so I’m pretty excited. I had one of those “I really did it” moments.

Side Note 2: Unfortunately, they weren’t interested in audio for DESTINY;DIVINE. The sales aren’t comparable, and book 1 had some pretty dark themes. The only real option is to go with AI voice or never do audio. I’m on the fence. Again—it’s my baby.

Heads Up

There’s going to be some changes to the Patreon tier structure and benefits in the coming months. I’ll notify everyone well in advance, but the plan is to offer more to the higher tiers.

From the start, Patreon has been a way for me to connect, get motivation to keep writing, and receive financial support—which has literally kept me fed inbetween book releases.
