The Tramp: Lazy Biddies
Added 2017-06-16 22:05:24 +0000 UTCAn old assignment I did to practice both ToonBoom and staying on model of an existing character. "Staying on model" means making the character look like... well, themselves, when they're moving, no matter how they're moving or what angle they're in. It's actually harder than what it sounds like but the pay-off is well worth it.
The assignment called for us to take a scene from a show or movie where the character isn't seen on screen, but they're speaking, and we were supposed to animate that character as if it were a part of the film/show they were in. I chose the Tramp from Lady and the Tramp to challenge myself, and he was a LOT of fun to animate! Might go back and take another crack at this, but I'm happy with how it looks thus far.
