Progress #8

Thew! The heat is killing me, but I keep working.

I think it's time to show you something interesting from the next update.

Now we can visit the main character's room as a separate location.

To do this, you can use the fourth button from the main menu. (The crown that was previously unavailable.)

So far there are not so many activities, but as the game progresses, their number will increase. For example, you'll be able to invite girls home. And in the evenings, you can find Alice here.

Some girls may decide to visit you on their own. But if you don't want to be disturbed, just close the window in the room. This will send a signal to everyone that you do not want to see anyone. Does not affect quest-related visits.

But the most interesting thing in the room right now is the computer. You can use it to play games, read the latest news (the consequences of your actions can also be in the news), order things through an online shop with home delivery, sell photos(finally!) to Vic (if you want), etc...

And, of course, you need wallpaper for your computer. So I made a few... Here's a wallpaper with Ellie. There will be more in the future.

Do you like it?

Thank you for you opinion! I try not to add completely unnecessary stuff, or at least make it skippable. My idea is that each quest (update) should be a kind of a separate story with its own plot and climax. So every new update would be fun to play. Like Penelope's story... Or, for example, I think that if the whole Fishing Tournament was a separate game, it would be okay on it's own. And at the same time, each of these little stories is part of something bigger.

I’ve been thinking about the release strategy and how they’d be packaged and marketed to prospective players. The content drops are a mix of minigames, perks, jobs, and maybe some major story scenes. The structure currently seems less “chapter” or “ep” based, so it’s hard for to communicate what the focus of each release will be. Hard for prospective players to know if the next one is worth checking out or not. My feedback is just to be careful about adding too many “things you can do” as this can feel random and make it feel like there’s no progress or movement in the story. Like Ubisoft, but in a bad way.
