The actor who played the vacuum cleaner shop owner (Robert Forster) died on the day this movie came out :( but apparently he got to see the full cut of the movie before he passed away, his wife said. Overall, i feel the same as you did about this movie (although when i watched it on release day i felt more negative about it, but now on a rewatch i like it somewhat more, a nice epilogue, but the 1800$ bit is still very weak in my opinion, if the sum was more significant then it would make more sense, but this whole final shootout felt a bit un-characteristic of Breaking Bad's tone)
