January 2022, New year, new cat robots!

A little late, but just in time to end January, the year is off to quite a rocky start on the side of the business and new contracts, but I'll get to that further down in this post. First! Let's talk about the new model

This is Neko Kimi, a proof of concept in a way, an experiment to see if the looks and tech behind the usual models from me could be maintained for a Quest friendly model, and I'm happy to say, it can! This one won't be released on stores, and is only available here for VRChat

There are three material sets that can be switched using the radial menu in game;

- the original striped tiger, themed for the new lunar year
- The rusty version, because who doesn't like a little dystopia on their robots
- and of course, the very on brand black and gold setup

Now, this could be a little long winded, but it's pretty cool, and I figured I should share what's been going on for the year so far

To start, Battle Bunny is finally registered as a corporation here at home, and the division aimed at VR avatars, VTubers and the like has been rebranded from just Battle Bunny to BB Interactive

Why?

The reason is pretty simple. Battle Bunny was a fun brand started in 2017 as an umbrella for all of my avatars, but recently I've bridged more into software development and creating systems for avatar integration for platforms like VRChat, including more advanced systems for full body tracking, facial tracking, haptics and the like. Still avatars, but more the technology that drives them when using them online, among other things that aren't early as interesting

Beyond that, BB Interactive has a line up of really, REALLY cool clients for the first quarter of this year, from award winning fine artists putting together galleries, to joint partnerships between Hollywood studios and a certain, very well known anime studio in Japan.

It's kept me busy, sleep deprived and perpetually burnt out, but it's going to be brilliant for the brand moving forward, and I have big plans for making sure everyone who supported me is thanked appropriately ^^

As always, thank you for sticking around, I really appreciate the patience and support you all have given me last year, and I don't intend to be this delayed again

Except maybe a little next month, birthday month is always a huge mess
