Coop will not leave Ronnette Pulaski alone, but it’s worth it guys: he found a letter “B”. He fills Harry and Albert in about his giant visions, and then Harry and Albert go enemies to lovers. Leland tells Coop about his childhood memory of Bob, with new information for us: he wanted to “play with fire”. Blackie and (gasp!) Jean Renault concoct a frankly insane scheme to get Audrey addicted to heroin and ransom her to Ben Horne. Jean wants Dale, presumably because he thinks he killed his frere Jacques. But wait! With Jacoby’s meditative help, Coop and Harry find out Leland killed Jacques. Anyway! One-armed Philip Gerard shows up, but when he sees a picture of Bob he freaks out and tries to take some medication. Without it, he points… but to where?

Meanwhile, Lucy’s baby daddy Dick Tremaine is introduced, the guy they wrote the Legally Blonde  musical “Gay or European?” song about. Dale is onto Shelley, but not the Asian Man watching him. Nadine is out of her coma, and ready for senior year. Donna is so pissed off that James and Maddy keep making the insane love song from last episode play in the soundtrack. She complains about it to her new friend, Laura’s shut-in meals on wheels confidante Harold Smith… but he has Laura’s diary???

Love this podcast!! Thank you both for your analyses, insights, and jokes. This episode was a bit difficult to listen to. I found myself raising the volume to hear Sadie, and then lowering it when Lily talked. Did anyone else experience this mixing issue? Otherwise, great episode!! Loved the part about the boiling frog of masculinity with Coop, Ben, and BOB.
