Nett formed (compression moulded) carbon fibre components seem to have threads provided by glued in inserts. Example would be CF cranks or Campag CF derailleur parts. The reasons for this are the same as you describe. Good luck to any owner of this frame who wants to remove/replace his BB in the future!

Idea:
The threads are treated with something, literally whatever. This allows the customer to install a BB like you showed - two piece with interference fit in the middle for alignment - the with threads on the outside.
*ONCE*
Frame builder can claim super light BB system but really they expect the customer to install an aluminum housing for some bearings.
I probably sound super stupid. But it makes sense to me. I put some sort of chemical on my aluminum BB threaded parts. I torque it in there. And then I hope to gods that I can clean and replace only the bearings somehow.
So it ends up pressfit after I have Hambini custom machine me a threaded aluminum shell for my new frame. Could work?
The key in my mind is claiming your frame is 18 grams lighter and you invented ceramic coated carbon fiber BB threads.
I always enjoy your replies to my terrible ideas.
