What started out as one of about a dozen anatomy practice sketches turned into this. Most sketches like these are 'Throw-away' images (Not in the literal sense) since often they're just half done layering of muscle over a crude skeleton, and gesture stick-figures to attempt to get my mind into some sort of creative space.
Trying to get it to tell a story.
In this case I found a few of the sketches triggered what will be a trio of fairly tongue-in-cheek images. I literally clipped out the male study in this case, turned him into a Hill-Lorrnath, and started sketching a whole tavern background (That poor gnome).
There will be another sketch posted within the next couple of days of a Lorrnathi woman, and I think a pair of Javarran as well. Pin-up-ish fare, but it at least managed to break my mind out of a creative static I've had most of the month.
Not sure if this will ever get finished or coloured, but it was doofy enough to at least sketch out fully. I have plenty to colour for the end of the month anyway :)
I'll be sending out a mail to the next person in line for a patron sketch in about a week, and it should be completed the first week of December.
Due to the holidays I'll have to push back the December Patron sketch to January. The time of year is super busy around here. I'll still have a bunch of posts to plan out otherwise (probably snow themed.. but with lights!), but often folks are travelling and otherwise might miss a sketch notification, so its best to just pause it until the new year.
Can't believe its almost 2020 already.
