The Spookenday
Added 2019-10-31 20:24:06 +0000 UTCIt was a very 'spook' looking day out around these parts, so I decided to take a pic from around the neighborhood of the grey sky, and wind blowing the trees and leaves around. A very appropriate day for Halloween.
I honestly wish the month lasted a little longer just out of sheer love for this kind of scenery and weather. Walking around in it today was quite lovely, and it did have enough of a chill to it that it made you want to get home, get inside, and huddle over a bowl of soup or a mug of something that will combat the drone of breezes carrying on them the spirits wandering to their eternal homes.
I hope everyone has a good Halloween, and here's hoping the coming winters aren't too harsh. I wanted to thank you all for meandering on these mad journeys of lines put to paper, and the adventures, even mundane ones, of the people in my head. The help has been immense, more than I can really put into words.
Now its just time to await the arrival of small goblins, and to throw candy at them while screaming.
