Swapmeet - Inks (150dpi)

There are images that make you work until you are nearly cross-eyed and can barely see, this was one of those.  But it was done out of love.

I've tweaked some of the things driving me crazy about the image, and while its still not where I thought it would be, I had to ink it.  For the pure fact that it represents the last of the autumn here (though I know November is also autumn, technically, it usually snows soon into that month in these parts).

I find it almost selfishly relaxing to draw trees, this time around borrowing from some Acadian scenes I was looking at which had these lovely tall trees with sparse needles and cones in them.

So the leaves are all fallen, and Cinders and Kee will need to have the hearth going when they get back home, pumpkins ready to be carved, and made into pies and soups, awaiting the night of spooks, and the first snows after that.

Thank you all for both your patience and support through this month.  I know it was a little slow to get off the ground due to the things going on in life here, but I'm still hoping to get this coloured by month's end for you all, and then start up on the next patron sketch.

Thankya! And things are finally evening out. The balance between work and life has finally hit a normal stride. I just need to work on my sleep schedule.

Little natural areas that surround little towns or trading areas just call to me. There are things that are haunted, and things of wonder in those woods.

Wow! Those trees and overall details! That's amazing! So much work! Nice story to go along with it. I can't wait to see it colored. You Rock! I hope life continues to go well for you.

Yeah, those trees. I could get lost in there. Splendid work.
