Hey everyone,

first off, a quick update on the TouchDesigner meetup: the date and topic have changed. It will now be on August 24th at 5 PM CEST and the topic will be System Architecture (thanks for the suggestion, Gord!). If you have any topic suggestions or requests, please feel free to let me know!

Secondly, I want to give you a quick update on my health. As some of you might know, I’ve been dealing with Long Covid for the better (or actually worse) part of the last two years. While I’ve been doing relatively okay over the past few months and generally moving toward being more stable and fit, I’m still far from 100%. I’m not yet able to work as consistently or as intensely as I would like.

Currently my main symptoms are chronic fatigue, a kind of physiological depression, and occasional neck and head pain, though these symptoms fluctuate. Because of all this, I can’t guarantee anything for at least the rest of this year, so I’m not sure how much content—if any—I’ll be able to share. I’m using the little energy that I do have mainly on AVY, a new version of my audiovisual live performance tool algoryhthm, but I have to be careful not to push myself too hard.

I’m sharing this to be transparent and to let you know that I’m not gone, nor am I unwilling to share more. I simply still can't. But I really do wish to get back into a consistent working flow, something I haven’t been able to sustain for more than a few days or a week in a long time.
