Exclusive dev update of No escape: Game edition! (381)

Good evening peeps, Scriptor here with the first post-hiatus dev news update!

Best Friends Forever:

I’ve been working on the images for the third chapter of the “Best Friends Forever” comic! Sure feels nice to be working in DAZStudio again, though I had to dig around a bit in folders: Figuring out where I left off and which direction I wanted to take the story, since it’s been a hot minute when I last worked on the comic itself. Good thing I made notes! 👀

Looking at where I left off last time it seems that most images for the third chapter are done; with only a few shots towards the end of the chapter remaining. I’m hopeful that I can manage to have the final shots done before the weekend rolls over; so that next week I can post-process it all and get started on the writing.

Christmas special!

And on the winter holiday side of things: Christmas is approaching again! As in the last few years I’m planning to take first and second Christmas day off. Though I do also want to keep the “Christmas special” tradition going strong this year! It’s been a wild Q3 and Q4 for me, so I was a bit on the fence about doing one this year. But gosh dangit it’s tradition; so it wouldn’t feel right not to! (Plus not to mention always very fun.) So like in the past two years; you all can expect a (small) Christmas special on 1st Christmas day! 🎅

That said; I’m a bit unsure about what to do for this one! I do have an idea or two of my own; but in all honesty I don’t have decided on anything concrete yet. So instead of figuring it out all by myself; for this year I thought it could be fun to let ya’ll pitch in with ideas/suggestions for the Christmas special (peril)! After all; there’s no better way to celebrate the holidays than helping me come up with squeaky trouble for Kathleen right? >;3

Keep in mind with your suggestion/idea that the Christmas special will be a “single shot” like in the last two specials; with three “progressive variants” of said shot (See here for an idea with what I mean with that: https://scriptor.fanbox.cc/posts/9090462 ). The suggestion/idea box will remain open till the 15th of December; you can post your suggestion here or on Discord. Afterwards I’ll do a (short) poll between my 3 personal favorites to see which one makes it for this year’s special! 💯😎

(Small disclaimer that I might fiddle/play around with your idea/suggestion a bit; to make it better fit with my worktime/schedule. Rest assured that I’ll keep the spirit of the idea/suggestion intact though!)

With Jess getting exactly ZERO rest from her “breath taking” encounter with Bambi; it looks like her new life will be quite a rough one...or at the very least one without a lot of “fresh air” >;3
