Added 2025-02-06 09:08:40 +0000 UTCAm I crazy for thinking that Zoraal Ja's reaction of neglect by his father is not out of the realm of possibility? he was the miracle heir and yet his father adopted two other kids to possibly govern the country.
I feel like it makes sense he grew spiteful of this. People often question "how come he came out as such a dickhead with a cool dad like that?" and I'd like to point out that sibling jealousy is a very real thing and not to mention people who have had good upbringings have turned out to be shits a lot in real life too.
I dunno, I feel like people expect Zoraal Ja to just accept the idea that his dad wanted other kids and gave them a chance to govern like "OH YEAH DAD THAT'S COOL THANK YOU!" and it's insane to me.

Yeah, I'm 100% with you. It's why I get so annoyed at the "omg zoraal ja was a bad villain he doesn't make any sense" thing that comes up a lot because holy *shit* he's so obviously got a crippling case of ex-gifted kid syndrome and "was browbeaten with completely unfair expectations by those around him as a kid" that I saw entirely too many shades of 13 year old me in him.
