Episode 263 - Broken Rigging on our Catamaran! the Mast has to come down!
Added 2025-08-25 11:44:58 +0000 UTCAfter some prep work and confusing wiring, the Crane finally arrives and Steps our Mast (removes our Mast) We are relieved to be able to remove those broken side stays and back stays as well as start the work to replace the old tricolours (sailing lights) on top of the mast, fit a better anchor light and lots more, while we are waiting for our furling system to arrive from the UK to be able to complete all the rigging work that needs doing! Yes it's been really hot! it's a bit cooler this week thankfully! Let's just hope it's still nice and warm when we're lifted back in for sailing in a couple weeks!! Boat jobs seem to never end but I do think we're getting there finally! 😅 Although Id said that several times 🤪 but got my fingers crossed for very soon!

But I honestly feel like we might actually be getting to the end of it now! 😅 obviously your a few episodes behind so bit more boat work antics to share with you yet before we're sailing. Bears hilarious, finding Beaus old stick on nails 🤣 lasted a few seconds before they were off and he was up to something else 😅

2025-08-25 14:16:06 +0000 UTCI noticed that the first thing Bear did after showing his fake fingernails was chew on them. I can't say having fake fingernails is normal for boys but chewing on fingernails is very normal behavior for boys. The boat work seems to be coming along nicely even though the amount of work needed keeps expanding.
