Episode 188 - Sailing & Partying in a Beautiful Turkish Gulet in Turkey!
Added 2024-03-18 18:48:11 +0000 UTCWe are befriended by some gorgeous Turkish locals and shown some real Turkish entertainment and hospitality, we spent a very fun evening aboard their stunning traditional wooden Turkish boat a Gulet, and recover the next day with a good old windy sail down eh coast to new and wonderful destinations! Sadly my (Nicky's) spinal condition plays up for a few days so the kids keep themselves busy and Bear has fun learning to Wakeboard!

Thank you John! It is so tough having a spinal condition I try so hard not to let it control my life and carry on regardless, but sadly sometimes that’s impossible!

2024-03-19 12:55:47 +0000 UTCAround sixty years ago when I was around the age Bear is now I had a parachute man similar to Bear’s. As I remember I would pull the parachute and string tight above him, fold the excess cloth in half then snugly roll the man sideways in the string and parachute. This would allow me to throw the man straight up, as the man come back down the chute would unroll allowing the man to parachute down. I believe that worked better than what Bear was trying.
