Episode 124 - Exploring Venice after Engine Trouble!

After engine trouble, we end up in a Venetian boat yard, with lots of help, mechanics, British parts ordered, delayed and customs troubles we finally decide to give up and go and explore Venice for the weekend! Which is so much fun and totally a great way to forget all our worries for a little while! Come and join us as we get stuck in to this weeks madness!

I totally agree the most beautiful places we’ve seen are most definitely away from the tourist areas! Italy, Sicily and Sardinia are so beautiful and the people and the food are amazing! 😍

I am from Messina, Sicily and I believe Sicily is the most scenic of any coastal area in Italy, not to mention the food is heaven lol

2022-12-27 07:14:47 +0000 UTCThe water were soooo murky, definitely not the best place to swim! You do get so much traffic in Venice now it’s crazy the amounts of boats chopping the water up! But Venice is still very beautiful, full of art and history 😃

Lots of grass in water in the marinas like it here in the southeastern US. Only regative is the boat driving appears to be as careless as some the street driving I have seen in Rome, and other cities in Italy. Your having to stay tied up in that heat especially at night had to be tough. Enjoyed the video of Venice, sorry buying of parts & taxes were so bad.
