Episode 106 - Crazy Winter Sailing in the Med, Northern Sicily

We have a major storm brewing and the nasty weather front is heading our way! There is no where to hide and we are truly trying to out run the storm! In the mean time we have an eerie silent calm with silky smooth water like I've never had before. So its engines on, constant watches to avoid floating debris from the floods and heading as quickly as possible to the Strait of Messina. See you next episode for the Strait of Messina and extremely close quarters with a war ship!

The calm before the storm!! 😅 It’s lovely as the kids grow up and try their hands at filming and stuff! I really wanted to swim so bad, but yes I couldn’t face the cold getting out at that time of night 😅 especially the wet hair!! X

2022-09-27 07:28:54 +0000 UTCLate fall sailing off of Sicily really peaceful on the days of the video. The debris continues to be a issue. Glad to Bear helping out with the camera work. The sunsets & the early morning sunrises were very beautiful. That evening walk on the beach, I know was enjoyable. Getting in the water would been inviting but getting out might of been brrr. Nice video Nicky.
