Episode 104 - Sailing in Sicily, Tornadoes, Double Rainbows, Lightening & Flash Floods! Totally Crazy!!!

After a shocking sail from Bizerte, Tunisia to Sicily we was hoping for a day or two of rest and relaxation at anchor, but what we got was big swells, high winds, terrifying tornadoes accompanied by endless rainbows, crazy close lightening storms and then a flash flood which left us upping anchor just before dark in terrible conditions so seek safety else where... crazy times aboard Pickle! So glad we can share this with you guys!!

Those freaky weather conditions were crazy! Especially that flash flood! It was hard to show on camera, but there was soooo much debris in the water, while trees, beaches, logs and god knows what else were all around us!! Bit scary. Pretty cool experiences though 😃

That river washout of the trees & limbs would been something that I might have over looked. Glad to see you back on the water even though fall weather turning to winter is not a sail into paradise for sure.
