Episode 100 - Sailing Pickle Family A fish out of water, we go deeper into the Sahara to an Oasis!
Added 2022-09-05 07:28:49 +0000 UTCIt really is strange being so deep into the Sahara desert when you live full time on a boat! It's completely different from the very watery existence we are use to! But the Sahara does not disappoint, it is awe inspiring with its huge rolling dunes, sweltering heat, crystal clear skies and fresh air to breath! The camels are surprisingly friendly, and we enjoy many nights around the fire, enjoying good food, good company and having a right giggle and well deserved rest after the long days trekking! Watch us as we learn to live without washing, surrender to the sandy existence and try and avoid some of the crazy wildlife and thats not just the wolves, wild dog and giant rodents, we're more concerned with the beetles, spiders, snakes and giant ticks which are absolutely everywhere! Join us on Friday as we trek out of the desert back to civilisation and travel further south to visit some Star Wars sets, and experience the beautiful culture in Southern Tunisia!
