Ep 50 - Washing Sails and Making a Lazy Jack Bag
Added 2021-08-17 10:44:02 +0000 UTCAnother great fun few weeks working on Pickle. The jobs always seem never ending, but we have so much fun and learn new stuff everyday! This week we remove our Genoa (head sail) and give it a big clean before it heads off to the sail makers for a new UV strip. Bruno from Accuresails is so helpful and reasonably priced we also decide to get a lazy jack bag made for our mainsail and a console cover made. I'm very excited for the finished goods...but in the mean time I've earned myself ice cream and a sneaky swim in my niknaks!

2021-08-17 20:59:40 +0000 UTCI love heights and climbing anything so I'm happy to do that 👍🙌 the wind transducer has been problematic since we got it, they replaced the faulty bearings at first and now sent us a new arrow /paddle (I haven't fitted that yet) we will have to see if that solves it?? All this boat maintenance is necessary to continue to sail so I guess work hard and play hard 😁👍 that can be our moto 😁🙌

Wind speed & direction may need an application of WD40 to loosen the top part of it. Always need to provision. All work & no fun will make for a dull boy they say here. Enjoy it Nicki.
