Hi, What a fantastic childhood! You must have some great memories, I'm hoping my kiddos will grow up rich with knowledge and wonderful memories from around the world... And hopefully no more scary ones, it actually was quite scary thinking that big fast boat was going to try and board us, especially since our dog died who would of protected us with his life. But all was good in the end thankfully and we obviously played it down for the kids sake. Very weird! Sir David Blake was a amazing sailor, I'd forgot until you mentioned him, he was killed by pirates boarding him at night wasn't he?! It's it awful! I think after all these years they have finally caught all the killers! We would love to catch up with you guys someday, that would be great! We are a peculiar mix im 100% a southern and he's a Yorkshire man through abd through 😂 and what's really weird is, we both rub off on each other and find ourselves saying all sorts of peculiar things in very peculiar accents 😂😂 when he gets in later (he's completely rebuilding the engine in the Spanish car so we can drive back 😕😬😳🤯) I will tell him what you said, he'd be absolutely over the moon 😂😂😂 👍👍👍 and be prepared... Your just encouraging him to be ever sillier 😜🤣 So glad you enjoy our little adventures 👍 stay safe and well. Nicky

They remind me so much of our childhood, my father was a sailmaker whilst we (brother & sister) were growing up and my mother ran a sailing clothes shop in Cowes. Every bank holiday weekend, end of term or summer holidays we were dragged off on the boat (various over the years) wether we liked it or not to various destinations. My memories are fond. And whilst this never happened to us a run in with pirates really does bring things home though. My father knew Peter Blake reasonably well so I think this shows situations can get quickly out of hand. so well done for being so brave keep the videos coming you lovely people and who knows maybe me a my girlfriend will see you out on the water one day! P. S. Being a soft southerner I think about 50% of the reason you have me as a patreon is Chris's fantastic accent... I absolutely love it 👍😁
