Also, no shade at all to Vita - she’s clearly very talented and stood out from a construction perspective. But to me, her garment’s silhouette has been so overdone in the show (and we’ve already seen so many great versions), that no matter how well you execute on it - it’s just losing the impact (kinda like the Marie Antoinette effect).

I actually was happy to see Nini on top 2. Major props for using paper on an unconventional material challenge and making it look sharp like that. Hers was also the only one that took inspiration from a previous participant that wasn’t successful at the same task (La la ri). That was ballsy and more interesting within the theme of the challenge. I don’t get why production gives access to “the vault” but stops short of requiring contestants to be inspired by what previous contestants actually wore.
