You summed it up perfectly for me! I couldn’t put my finger on why I just couldn’t hop on the onya train for a long .. it’s the runways ! She knocks it out of the park in every challenge ! But the way she puts some looks together is just not it for me .

2025-03-23 17:47:30 +0000 UTCIn general, I like Onya as a personality and it’s unquestionable she’s a seasoned queen, who has been delivering... But somehow I’m not excited by her. I think the fashion side lacks a lot. Even if her looks are mostly passing the marks, they are not that innovative and occasionally even in poor taste. But ofc, it’s really difficult for a queen to hit all the marks, and she’s hitting really important ones with her charisma and comedy. I just wish she had wowed a bit more on the runway, for me to be a fan.

2025-03-23 10:38:10 +0000 UTCI agree with your commentary on Onya’s turkey outfit! I somehow felt it didn’t fit the brief as well as it could. Reads more as “ugly costume” than “ugly dress”. It’s quite literal too: a plain turkey costume with no twist or idea to it. The most interesting interpretations are when someone plays with unfashionable elements to deliver an -ugly dress-.
