Alanis was on an 80's Canadian Children's show "You Can't Do This on Television." The tv show was syndicated on Nickelodeon in the US. Alanis was on for one season (1986) and moved to music. There were two albums before Jagged Little Pill - one was dance pop and one was ballads.
