I think there are certain types of "over the top" looks like Salina does that may work better in person where more is mostly: MORE! Like in a bar, on a stage with an audience, etc. large and hyper detailed stuff might make more sense. The show has more of an emphasis on fashion I think. And concerning luxx/mistress looks I agree especially cause ru said "into something like we've never seen before" but some of them were so literal to the source it made me wonder what prompt they were given when preparing for the show. There are even reported cases where the queens recall receiving DIFFERENT prompts for the same runway.

2023-02-27 02:29:49 +0000 UTCI struggle when I feel like look “interpretations” are too literal. Both Luxx and Mistress first looks were too close to Ru’s for me. I love the way Marcia took the challenge and made it her own and agree with Bussy that is she had done a checkered or pink boot, it would’ve been GREAT. It just was too white on the bottom for me. I know folks hate Salina’s style but I loved her racer look - it was very Chola/Cali style and in that green, totally made sense. I think Salina also looked great during the lipsync last week. She isn’t always bad.
