Fans are complaining of 'drag race fatigue' online, saying they can't keep up with all the new seasons of Rupaul's Drag Race. Worse though, they are pointing at lower than predecessor follower counts for queens like Willow Pill and Lady Camden on Instagram as evidence that the impact Rupaul's Drag Race has on a queen's career is fading. 2022-10-17 13:38:42 +0000 UTCThere are many different factors to the changes in drag race consumers, at the point when there was only a US drag race the whole world would need to watch that to get the fix, now countries have their own spin offs some people will watch their version but not the US ones. There is also the factor that people have to pay for WOW+ to get international seasons which will the audience in small countries. Plus the US season was moved moved from Netflix to WOW+ in several countries so that would stop people watching. But I feel Bussy final thoughts on the matter pretty much sums up the feeling of over saturation. As a side note I think these international seasons are an important part of representation in each country so for that reason I would be happy for a spin off for every country.
