Completely agree re: Jaida’s runway! This is such an excellent comment so I revisited the dances. Shea’s dance was my #2 and I think what Monet got right for a viral dance challenge is how often a person might do the dance. It was high energy and memorable - the song matched the dance which was her name. Every piece marketable. I think Shea took too long to get to the dance & when she said it was for Alvin Ailey dancers maybe it might limit the folks who would try it? I mean I absolutely would - it was fun and she was gorgeous but when you think about branding & viralability, I think Monet did better.

2022-07-09 22:33:08 +0000 UTCThe only dance I remember is Shea’s. Monet’s was good but besides being about money, I don’t remember a single move. Shea actually created a dance with staying power. Also, Jaida KILLED this runway. Ben was absolutely right in how exciting it is for all the gowns to be full length, because with a reveal you just expect it to get smaller and show more skin. 🤯
