On the topic of character ages it has been about 2 years since the start of the series. Volume 1: Spring Semester Volume 2: Fall Semester Volume 3: Fall Semester (Ruby's 16th Birthday) 8 Month Time Skip Volume 4: Summer Volume 5: Fall (Ruby's 17th Birthday) Volume 6: Winter So that puts Ruby at 17 while Weiss, Blake, Yang, Jaune, Nora, and Ren are 19. Oscar is 14.

2019-10-23 02:09:46 +0000 UTCHonestly, Blake being able to pull off the switch when he was about to stab her was just straight up magic. She's clearly there when he goes for the stab, but she somehow swaps out with a shadow and manages run all the way to her weapon without Adam noticing. I feel like she only ever gets that Naruto Substitution Jutsu-level swap when they need dramatic tension. Every other time, we can actually see her make the switch. That aside, I love the fight. Not really sure how Adam's after images work, but they're awesome nonetheless.
