March 2021 Touching Base
Added 2021-03-27 15:42:12 +0000 UTCThinking I'm gonna start doing a monthly post to patreon itself like this from now on, in part cuz it makes my situation a bit easier to track, in part because apparently if you don't post anything to patreon itself for too long a time, it'll just shut down, which isn't great for me managing stuff via discord.
So! Obviously I haven't been especially active with comms or streams or anything art related, and I apologize for that, been having some issues in my personal life that have really got in the way, especially this past March. I was starting to get back into the groove of things, and then my sister brought home a stomach bug from a friend she was for some reason visiting, which basically shut down the whole household and cancelled any momentum I had built.
In the midst of that, the decision was made to have the family dog thats been through 2/3rds of my life put to rest- he was struggling to walk and had a number of problems that couldn't be managed anymore, his quality of life was not doing well, so it was the right decision for him. Being that it was decided when half the house was still horribly ill, we didn't do it right away- this past thursday we had a vet appointment for him and said goodbye. That situation is the one thats been weighing on me the most heavily, of course.
As a final point though, my sister (the one who gave us the stomach bug) has been in the process of moving out- the moving company picked up all of her packed up stuff just today, which has cut the household from 7 & 2 dogs to 4 and 0 dogs all in the span of just a couple days.
I'm terribly sorry that I haven't been keeping up with art and patreon well here, but I really appreciate everyone sticking around and being patient and supporting me regardless of that. I may still need a little longer to stabilize with everything going on here lately, but I hope to get things up and running again in full in April.
