Impersonation is trying to make someone believe you are the person (It can be through willing suspension of disbelief though). The people in this episode are impersonating because they're not breaking character.

2024-10-30 19:10:24 +0000 UTCthe way i see impression vs. impersonation is first one you are aware is happening where the second one is happening without your knowledge. think comedians doing impressions of presidents or actors, or abed doing batman lines. And then think of impersonation like someone calling the bank on your behalf using your personal info.
