“Becker” was Ted Danson at his lowest, career-wise. He’d tell you, himself. He was great in a bad show. It was the show that was meant to (and failed to) revitalize his career after “Cheers”. “Cheers” and Sam Malone will always be what Ted Danson is best known for…as it should be. Ted Danson IS Sam Malone.
