2024-09-17 14:44:41 +0000 UTCif it ain't broke....OG mac was great. not totally gay but with latent homo tendencies he's in denial about. work better as satire. then they retconned his character to be 100% gay to the point of being disgusted with women (despite numerous episodes contradicting this) and embracing the most obvious stereotypes. the plastic surgery him and caitlyn got plus his unnaturally fit physique (pretty sure steroids were involved) makes them less funny because they're not believable as scummy south philly bar owners anymore, they look like they've been marinating in hollywood for a few decades. and yea they made him borderline retarded now. also doesn't help rob's acting is really trash in the later seasons. the superbowl episode is a good example, every line sounded like he just read it off the script for the first time. he should've just stayed fat and in the closet 😂
