Best way to do the “keep an open mind and you might learn a thing or two” lesson for sure lol. Segueing from that to “here’s how you can use other elemental styles to change your own bending style” is just… AHHH I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! Also y’all might have talked over it, but Iroh just casually dropping one of his best lines to Zuko: “Pride is not the opposite of shame, but its source. True humility is the only antidote to shame.” I love the moments when the writers clearly aren’t just speaking to the kids watching, and it happens more and more the further the series goes on.
